Linda Ward

Linda Faye Ward, 56, of Elkton, MD entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, DE following a long illness.

Born March 30, 1964 at Hinton she was a daughter of Patricia K. Carte Ward of Elkton, MD and the late Ralph Junior Ward.

Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Ward and Charles Ward.

Besides her mother, those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Tonya Lynn Ward of Rising Sun, MD; two grandchildren, Kendall Taylor and Ryden Taylor; four siblings, Debbie Griggs of NC, Tim Ward of Elkton, MD, Retha Ward of Elkton, MD and Teresa Seyler and husband Brian of Elkton, MD; beloved pet, Toby and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be private for the safety of the family and the community. Pastor Robbie Merritt will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Friend Ward Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
