Agnes Franklin

Agnes Kincaid Franklin, 85, of Deland, Florida formerly of Forest Hill died Thursday, August 21, 2008 in a Florala, Alabama hospital following a short illness. Born March 1, 1923 at Barger Springs she was a daughter of the late Barger and Malinda Kessinger Meadows. She was a former employee of A&P Grocery Company as a sales clerk and loved her family, making many quilts for all of her grand and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by; Her first husband, John Lee Kincaid; one daughter, Janie Hatfield; and one brother, Buford Meadows. She is survived by her husband, William Roy Franklin of Florala, AL; one son, Jennings Kincaid of Georgetown, S.C.; three daughters, Danese Kincaid of Kenley, N.C., Kathryn Scott of Paxton, FL and Betty Kincaid of Georgetown, S.C.; Fifteen grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren; three brothers, Chester Meadows of Barger Springs, Barger Meadows Jr. of Talcott and Beecher Meadows of Talcott; six sisters, Barbara Koontz of Union, CarolynHuffman of Forest Hill, Ann Meadows of War Ridge, Wilma Fox of Williamsburg,Shirley Winfrey of Williamsburg and Patricia â??Pattyâ?? Richmond of Beckley and step mother Helen Meadows of Talcott. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the RonaldMeadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 11:00 A.M. until time of service Wednesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
