Albert Stoddard Jr.

Albert Henry Stoddard Jr., 77, of Hinton passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division following a sudden illness.
Born September 9, 1939 at Flat Rock he was a son of the late Albert Henry Sr. and Rose Lilly Stoddard.
Albert was retired from Newsome and Work Metalizing Co. in Akron, OH. He was a member of the WV National Guard who lived most of his life in Summers County. Albert enjoyed farming, hunting, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ireda Mae Drew Stoddard; one son, David Stoddard; one granddaughter, Jeanie Marie Stoddard and one brother, Ernie Stoddard.
Those left to cherish his memory include his first wife, Helen Conrad Stoddard; children, Albert, Thomas, Ronald, Sheryl, Robert, Jason and Jennifer Stoddard; twenty grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and siblings, Herbert Stoddard, Rosemary Cramer, Kathryn Friend, Helen Richmond and James Stoddard.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
