Alice Kay Cooper, 62, of Cleveland, Oh, formerly of True, entered into rest and peace with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the Metro Health Medical Center at Cleveland, following a short illness. Born October 24, 1944 at Pemberton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Herbert B. and Alice Elizabeth Lucas Palmer. She was a member of the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, Pastored by Freddy Ray. Preceded in death by one son, Gregory Cooper, two brothers, Charles and Johnny Palmer and one sister, Agnes Adkins. Survived by two daughters, Nancy Cooper of Cleveland, Oh, and Beverly Ballengee and husband Bill of Nimitz, two sons, Elvin Cooper and wife Kim and Eric Cooper all of Cleveland, OH, four brothers, Dallas and wife Donna, Earl and wife Alisha, Dean and wife Peggy and Donnie and wife Brenda all of Cleveland, OH one sister, Carolyn of Cleveland, OH and six grandchildren, William Paul and Samuel of Nimitz and Tyler, Kayla, Amber and Benjamin all of Cleveland, OH. She was loved by her many family members and friends. A viewing was held at the Fortuna Funeral Home in Cleveland, OH on Thursday, July 05, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Grace Baptist Church at Nimitz with Pastor Bill Ballengee officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 7-9 P.M. on Friday and at the Church one hour prior to services. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral Information: 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Grace Baptist Church, Nimitz, WV.
