Anna Elizabeth Graham, 86, of Hinton went to be with the Lord with her family by her side on August 22, 2009 at Summers Co. ARH Hospital after a long illness.
Born October 2, 1922 in Summers County she was the daughter of the late Rufus Blaine and Mamie Louise Ward Richmond. A lifelong resident of Summers County she enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Mrs. Graham was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Homer Graham in 1987; a son George Buford Graham in 1989; a daughter, Drema Gaye Graham in 1944; six sisters and four brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Ruth Russell and husband Robert of Hinton where she made her home, Vernice Abshire and husband Denver of Talcott and Josephine Hatcher and husband Russell of Dunbar; two sons, Cecil Graham Jr. and wife Patty of Speedway and Neil Graham and companion Carol Jean Beatty of St. Albans; four grandchildren, Lisa Stalnaker and husband Matthew of Talcott, Regina Cornwell and husband Scott of Princeton, Gaye Blankenship and husband Brian of Princeton and Michael Graham and wife Diana of Roanoke, VA; four great grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Stalnaker of Talcott, Christian Graham of Roanoke, VA and Blake Blankenship of Princeton; two sisters, Jean Deeds of Milton and Pat Humphries of Cleveland, OH; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Wanda Richmond.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Monday at the Funeral Parlors.
Franklin Bowles, Matthew Stalnaker, Chuck Rollyson, Snookie Meadows, Scott Cornwell and Michael Graham will serve as pallbearers.
