Anna M. Allen Lilly, 66, of Jumping Branch, West Virginia, went to be with her LORD & SAVIOR, September 26, 2011, following a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May, 1945, in Hinton. She was a daughter of the late Marie and Charlie O. Allen, and also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Dean Allen.

Anna is survived by her loving husband, Bill, two step-sons, Wesley Ray Lilly & friend, Cass of Newcastle, Del., Air Force Senior Master Sergeant J. Scott Lilly & wife Susan of LaGrange, NC, Sisters, Mary Kay Nabholtz of Clovis, NM, Sara Ballengee of Beckley; Brother, Edgar Lee ?Pedro? Allen & wife Phyllis of Fincastle, VA, Sisters, Juanita Harris & husband Bill, of Troutville, VA, Jenny Fox & husband Alfred, of Covington, VA, Alice Reed & husband Ben, of Hinton, Linda Jones & husband, Randy of Marie. Also Donna Baker, her sister in Christ, of Jumping Branch.

Anna worked for C&P telephone in Hinton & Beckley, until she and Bill married in Dec. 1977. Then she moved to NC with him, where she worked for Bell South until retiring in 1996, with 30 years service with the telephone company. Upon moving back to WV in 1996, she worked for New River Animal Hospital for 10 years.

Anna was a member of Bluestone Baptist Church, Jumping Branch, she was active in the Jumping Branch CEOS & was a member of Walk For Her Lifetime Committee. She was also on the Board of Directors of the Lilly Reunion & graduated Hinton High School with the class of 1963.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
