Anna May Maddox, 72, of Hinton, former resident of Turnersville, NJ, died at 6:29 A.M. Monday, March 27, 2006 at her residence, following a long illness. Born April 7, 1933 at Rockville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Thelma May Vaughn Swann. Mrs. Maddox was a retired employee of the New Jersey Transit and a member of the Hinton First United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Maddox, one son, Curtis Maddox Jr. and one brother, Bill Swann. Survived by one daughter, Rosanna Iadicola and husband Steven of Milan, Michigan, one niece, Lori McMinn of Woodstock, VA and her children whom she loved as her grandchildren Carl and Rachael McMinn, one sister-in-law Ophelia Smith of Danville, VA and one nephew Dennis Smith of Danville, VA Funeral services willl be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ken Price officiating. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society STES 6 & 7, 301 RHL Blvd, Charleston, WV 25309 or the Greenbrier Valley Hospice, 540 North Jefferson St., Box 7, Suite D. Lewisburg, WV 24901 Mrs. Maddox family would like to thank the Hinton residents and members of the First United Methodist Church and Hospice Inc. for all of their help and support.
Viewing Information: 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Funeral Parlors.
