Ardella “Tootie” Louise Campbell, 83, of Red Sulphur Springs went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 20, 2021 at her home following a long illness.
Born December 8, 1937 at Red Sulphur Springs she was the daughter of the late Ernest Weldon and Nellie Gray Ballard Long. Tootie attended Calvary Baptist Church and had worked as a dairy farmer and a medical receptionist. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, collecting rocks, being outdoors and taking car rides through the country.
Preceded in death by two sisters, Orleda Faith and Rose Marie Helm and her brother, Bob Long.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 65 years, Ralph R. Campbell of Red Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Debra Gray Staples and husband Rodney of Narrows, VA and Susan Darlene Parker and husband Jack of Red Sulphur Springs; two grandchildren, Stacy Michele Wozniak and husband Kevin and Rodney “Justin” Staples Jr.; great grandson, Christopher Michael Wozniak; three brothers, Cecil Long and wife Linda, Fairley Long and wife Bernice and Johnny Long and wife Ethel Mae and several nieces and nephews.
Private family graveside rites will be held at a later date.
