Arnold Hammons

Arnold Lee Hammons 65, of Hilldale, died at 10:10 P.M. Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hinton following a short illness. Born June 29, 1943 at Elton he was the son of the late Ben F. and Nellie J. Harron Hammons. He was a former employee of Summers County Hospital and a sixteen year employee of the Hinton Taxi Service. Preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Dale and Albert Hammons and two sisters, Vinney Ward and Ula â??Midgeâ?? Trout. Survived by three sons, David Lee Adkins and wife Sandy of Pennsylvania, Arnold Lewis Hammons of Elkins and Jimmy Hammons of Hinton. Two daughters, Kathy Conner and husband Jessie of Forest Hill and Loretta Justice and husband Jason of Beckley. Three granddaughters, Kimberly, Kerissa and Kaylee and one grandson Chase; two brothers, Ben and Raymond Hammons both of Hinton; and one sister, Juanita Bragg of Moorefield and a special nephew Richard Trout Kesner of Hilldale. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor Chapel with Rev. Ray Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Halliden Cemetery at Green Sulphur Springs. Friends may call 1:00 until time of service on Monday
