Arthur Adkins

Arthur Dale Adkins, 57, of Hilldale died suddenly Monday morning November 19, 2007 at his home. Born May 28, 1950 at Hinton, he was the son of the late Hubert Dean and Genevieve Ward Adkins Sr. Arthur was an employee of the Sam Perdue Detention Center at Princeton, WV, a life long resident of Hinton, a member of the Hinton Moose Lodge and was an avid fisherman. Survived by two brothers; Hubert Dean Adkins Jr. and wife Delores of Hilldale and Rev. Donald E. (Doc) Adkins and wife Sarah of Pineville, one nephew, Ronnie Williams and wife Margie of Little Rock, Arkansas, two nieces; Amy Deborde and husband Dave of Ashland, KY and Allison Adkins of Pineville along with several great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Rev. Dewight Stafford officiating. At his request, his body has been cremated. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of sympathy should be made to the American Diabetes Association, Charleston WV Office, P.O. Box 238, Hurricane, WV 25526.
