Aubrey “Cricket” Alfred Lilly, 85, of Jumping Branch died Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his home following a long illness.
Born July 13, 1934 at Summers County he was a son of the late Abdel Hamilton and Gertrude Mae Rollyson Lilly.
Cricket was a US Army Veteran and a timberman. He was a member of the Jumping Branch Tabernacle. Cricket enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and attending church activities.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Fay Cooper Lilly; four brothers, David P. Lilly, Frank P. “Doc” Lilly, Richard Paul Lilly and Alonzo Lee Lilly.
Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Kathleen K. Pack and Karen D. Lilly; two sons, John A. Lilly and wife Brenda and Danny R. Lilly and wife Mandy; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two brothers, Luther C. Lilly and Donald R. Lilly and wife Brenda.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Jumping Branch Tabernacle with Pastors Tom and Dalene Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Odie Meador Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Thursday at the Jumping Branch Tabernacle. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
