Barry Allen â??Buckâ?? Plumley, 60, of Cool Ridge went home to be with the Lord at 11:15 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at his home following a long illness. Born July 21, 1945 at White Sulphur Springs, he was a son of the late Roscoe C. and Martha Jarvis Plumley. He was raised on Plumley Mountain in Raleigh Co. Disabled Journeyman Roofer, member of the Nehemiah Baptist Church and he enjoyed going treasure hunting. Survived by his wife Nedra Allen Plumley, four sons, Barry Allen Plumley Jr. of N.Y., Kyle Cherry and his wife Heather of N.Y., Carl Plumley of N.Y. and Jerry Dale Plumley of Cool Ridge; three daughters, Dawn Schick and her husband Paul of N.Y., Elaine Beeghly and her husband Mike of FL and Tammy Thoman of OH; one brother, Randy Plumley and his wife Jo Ann of Beckley; three sisters, Penny Fitzpatrick and her husband Jimmy of Jumping Branch, Gloria Glover and her husband Dick of White Sulphur Springs and Sharon Napier and her husband John of Lewisburg. Eleven grandchildren also survive. Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 31, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Brian Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington-Plumley Cemetery on Plumley Mountain. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral parlors. Emery Plumley, Dale Allen, Matt Oâ??Keefe, Michael Oâ??Keefe, Justin Bragg, Ed Meadows and Clinton Cochran will serve as pallbearers.
