Beatrice Lane

Beatrice Virginia Lane, 68, of Charleston, died Wednesday, May 4, 2006 at the Charleston Area Medical Center at Charleston, following a long illness.Born April 30, 1938 in Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Beecher and Grace Hicks Graham.Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Lane, two sisters; Eloise and Wanda and two brothers; Clayton and Percy.Survived by three daughters; Larrie Ann Ward of Greenville, NC, Brenda Bennett of Charleston and Cathy Bennett of Roseville, Mich., one son, Michael Bennett of China Township, Mich., two step-sons, Gary and Michael Lane, fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Stanley Kinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Saturday.
