Bernice M. Fox, 95, of Beaver, formerly of Sandstone, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the home of her daughter.
Born October 20, 1914 in Summers Co. she was a daughter of the late George and Ollie Miller Morgan.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, a member of the Hinton Church of Christ, a graduate of the Green Sulphur District High School and had worked for Simmons Store at Sandstone and retired in 1985 from Simmons Hardware and Feed.
Preceding her in death include; her husband, Raymond Fox; one daughter, Jewell K. Fleshman; four brothers, Robert, Arnold, Artie and Archie Morgan and two sisters, Belva Foster and Barbara Kincaid.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Geneva Tichenor of Beaver with whom she made her home and Cathy Browning and husband Gary of Jumping Branch; five grandsons, Alan Fleshman and wife Patsy, Gary Fleshman, David Fleshman, Van Fleshman and Mark Fleshman and wife Stephanie; seven great grandchildren, Greg Bowles and wife Shelly, Christi Stover and husband Garrett, Kemper Fleshman, Derick Fleshman, Justin Fleshman, Madeline Fleshman and Emma Fleshman; one great great grandson, Landon and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Minister John McCain officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Gardens at Clintonville. Friends may call at the funeral parlor from 6-9 PM Monday. Pallbearers will be Alan, Gary, David, Van and Mark Fleshman and Greg Bowles.
