Bernice McCall

Bernice E. Webb McCall, 68, of Ballengee, went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2008, following a long illness. Born January 23, 1940 at Ballengee, she was the daughter of the late Lester Guy and Emma Jane Hodge Webb. Mrs. McCall was a homemaker and attended the War Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Gomer E. McCall on July 1, 2003, a daughter, Carol Sue MaCall and six brothers and sisters; Ruby Webb, Linda Webb, Nancy Richardson, Elmer â??Peteâ?? Webb, Relda M. Vest and Jesse F. Webb. Survived by three brothers; James Webb and wife Ginger of Cassanova, VA, Thomas C. Webb and wife Shirley of Barger Springs, and Roy â??Jasonâ?? Webb of Ballengee. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the War Ridge Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Galiford officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call at the church from noon until 2:00 P.M. Monday. Pallbearers: Roger, Tom and David Richmond, Brian Webb, Dennis Galiford and Jim Nelson.
