Betty J. Crowe, 58, of Riverside Rest went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long battle with Covid 19.
Born January 2, 1963 in Summers County she was a daughter of the late Glen and Shelby Cox Beheler.
Betty was of the Baptist faith. She was a former employee of Pipestem State Park and Main Street Care in housekeeping. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends, looking for deals at goodwill and thrift stores and going out to eat.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Owens Crowe; one daughter, Donna Joe Crowe and one grandson, Joseph “Bubba” Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Kimberly Ann Adkins and husband Frankie of Talcott and Misty Crowe of Riverside Rest; six grandchildren, Gabriel, Ethan and Nicky Vandall and Hannah, Brayden and Zander Adkins; one brother, Billy Gill and wife Mona of Hinton; two sisters, Ruth Adkins and husband Roy of Hinton and Julie Keaton and companion Larry of Pipestem; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The special bond she shared with Sam Lane and Julie Keaton meant the world to Betty. Also, the Bonds and the Whitten families whom she loved dearly and have become a cherished part of the family.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
