Beulah Lopes, 68, of Ballengee, WV, went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 31, 2011 at home following a long illness.
Born May 7, 1943 at Dot, WV she was the daughter of the late Donald and Ida Nelson.
Beulah was a very talented model, author and painter who attended the Riverview Chapel while her health permitted, co-owner of a janitorial cleaning service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with friends and family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years, Anthony Lopes of Ballengee; one son, Craig Lopes and friend Christine Bonenfant of Manchester, NH; two daughters, Carrie Danton and husband Craig of Hooksett, NH and Crystal Collins and husband Bill of Springfield MA; two grandsons, George and Cebastian; four brothers, Charlie L. Nelson and wife Amber of Ballengee, John Nelson and wife Nancy of Greenville, VA, James L. Nelson and wife Millie of Ballengee and Timothy Nelson and wife Tamara of Ballengee; one sister, Brenda Radford of Beckley and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Central Baptist Church in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends and family are invited to stay after the service for a time to remember and celebrate Beulah?s life.
