Billy Webb

Billy David Webb, 70, of Pipestem died Sunday, May 14, 2006 at the Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Born October 20, 1935 at Pipestem he was a son of the late Dempsey Buren and Estelle Wood Webb. Billy was a retired construction worker, avid fisherman and he attended the Baptist Church. Preceded in death by a son, Anthony â??Tonyâ?? Webb. Survived by his wife, Brenda Halloran Webb; two sons, Richard â??Rickâ?? Webb of Palmdale, CA and Tim Webb of Burlington, NC; two daughters, Beverly Green of Simi Valley, CA and Julie Rosado of Quartz Hill, CA; one stepdaughter, Janet Crowe of Pence Springs, one brother, Dempsey Lee Webb of Pipestem; one sister, Dorothy Sue Lilly of Salem, VA; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three nephews, two nieces and his canine companion â??Sparkyâ??. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Wood Cemetery at Pipestem. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Lacy McBride, Harold â??Ponkyâ?? Pack, Eddie Harrah, Nick Webb, Ben Webb and Ricky Webb will serve as pallbearers.
