Bobby Pettrey

Bobby Lee Pettrey, 82, of Hinton went into the glory of heaven as a special angel on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 following a long illness.
Born February 18, 1930 at Forest Hill, he was a son of the late Allen E. and Pearl Farley Pettrey.
Bobby was a special person who cared for those around him. He loved looking at books and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a twin sister, Betty Pettrey Edwards and one brother, Charles M. Pettrey.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Marie Pettrey Shanks of Bellepoint and Ramona Pettrey Priest of Rootstown, OH; one brother, Ralph H. Pettrey of True; a special niece who helped with Bobby?s care, Terri Kirkham and husband Frank ; 16 other nieces and nephews, Susan Lawrence and husband Richard, Christine Priest, Renotta Bradley, Perry Priest and wife Barb, Darrell Gene Pettrey and wife, Gary Pettrey, Walter and Wanda Pettrey, Betsy Pettrey, Ricky Pettrey, Robin Thompson and husband David, Ronnie Pettrey, Ralph Dean Pettrey and wife Ellen, Patty Edwards, Cheryl McCoy and husband Jim, Greg Edwards. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services at the funeral parlor on Monday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
