Bonnie Meadows

Bonnie Furrow Meadows, 58, of Lindside went home to be with the Lord, Sunday June 30, 2013 at the Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital, Blacksburg, VA following a short illness.
Born December 29, 1954 at Summers County she was a daughter of Margaret Fox Furrow of Marie and the late Dewey Albert Furrow.
She was a homemaker who volunteered at area nursing homes where it was commented that she could sing like an angel and along with Bonnie Galford they spent time caring and praying with the residents. Bonnie was a kind and caring person who even when she was in pain she still had a smile for everyone and wouldn?t hesitate to give her last dollar to someone who needed it.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Furrow.
Survived by her husband of 42 years, Oscar Meadows; son, Keith Meadows, two daughters, Robin Harrison and husband Asa and Wendy Gillespie; six grandchildren, Briar, Logan and Brookes Meadows, Conner and Jackie Harrison and Kissiah Gillespie; two brothers, Phil Furrow and wife Goldie and Jeff Furrow and wife Mary; two sisters, Kay Diggs and husband Tom and Vickie Bennett and husband Frankie; three nephews, Jerome Furrow, Scott Bennett and Nick Bennett; six nieces, Heather Montelegro, Andrea Diggs, Kim Smith, Karlee Furrow, Nicole Davis and Adrianne Furrow and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in-laws, aunts and uncles all whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Earl Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Lindside. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
