Brad V. Angell, 36, of Nimitz went home to be with the Lord at 1:49 A.M. Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born December 28, 1977 at Hinton he was a son of Charles K. "Poncho" and Patricia G. Phillips Angell, a special nephew of Sue Angell and Steve Meadows of Beech Run, and a special cousin of Penny Radford.
Brad was a member of the Beech Run Baptist Church. He was a Summers County High School graduate and a former 15 year employee of Lowes of Beckley. Brad was a BMW enthusiast and admired all sports cars. He was a very caring, outgoing man who enjoyed spending time with his daughters, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, O.B. and Margaret Angell; maternal grandparents, Dempsey and Pauline Phillips and a loving uncle, Charles Keaton.
Besides his parents he is survived by two daughters, Abigail V. Angell and Kaitlyn L. Angell and former wife, Hope Tickle of Jumping Branch; two brothers, Charlie Angell Jr. and wife Katrina of Lerona and Benny E. Angell of Charlotte, NC and Brandee Mullins of Beckley; four special nieces, Haley, Karlei, Skylar and Alexis Ann Angell; many loving aunts and uncles, Sonny Angell and wife Ruth, Mickey Angell and wife Amy, Alice Harvey and husband Tony, Barbara Meadows and husband Kenny, Zina Angell and wife Cathy, Alma Rose Belcher and husband Jerry, Brenda Wiley and Roger, Hobert Keaton and wife Pat, Jimmy Phillips and wife Sherry, Joetta Moyers and husband Lee, Dempsey Phillips, Teddy Phillips and wife Brandy, Freddy Phillips, Dewayne Phillips and wife Kendra and numerous loving cousins, family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with his uncle, Pastor Sonny Angell officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from 6:00-9:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral parlor.
J.R. Tickle, Rusty Moyers, Steve Angell, Scott Angell, Jason Angell and Willie Wiley will serve as pallbearers.
T.J. Harvey, Jeremy Meadows, Michael Angell, and the Grumpy Old Men of Angell's Store in Nimitz will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Princeton Community Hospital's CCU staff and a special thank you to the good samaritan who assisted Brad in his time of need.
