Breanna "Bre" Summer Godbey, 20, of Jumping Branch passed away Tuesday July 19, 2016 at her home.
Born July 9, 1996 at Fairlea she was the daughter of Samuel P. Harrell of Ballard and Bonnie Godbey Ward of Hilldale.
She attended Summers County High School and Central Baptist Church. Breanna enjoyed reading, writing poems, listening to music and but most of all loved her phone.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ansell Godbey and great grandparents, Denver and Anthia Godbey.
Survived by her grandmother, Elaine Godbey of Jumping Branch who lovingly raised her; her aunt/mother, Greta Godbey Brown of Jumping Branch who helped raise her; her uncle/father, William Carr of Jumping Branch who also had part in her upbringing; her cousin/sister, Devin Brown of Hinton; her cousin/brother, Nikolas Carr of Jumping Branch; aunts, Reba Godbey of TN and Cecelia Fox and companion Jeremy Carpenter of Jumping Branch, uncle, Dwayne Godbey and companion Kristi Anderson of Odd; special aunt, Diane "Dee Dee" Godbey of Beaver; special uncle, Tony Bernabe of FL and cousins, Trevor and Briyonna Godbey, Justin Godbey and Stephanie Bonds.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday July 27, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery at Powley's Creek. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday.
William Carr, Dwayne Godbey, Justin Godbey, Garry Wheeler, Jerry Wheeler and Jeremy Carpenter will serve as pallbearers.
Josh Trivett, Noah Clark and Josh Wills will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations to help with the funeral expense can be sent to First Community Bank, 298 Stokes Dr., Hinton, WV.
