Carl Smith

Carl Lee Smith, 75 of Sevierville TN formally of Pipestem WV, died Monday May 14, 2007 in a Sevierville TN care home, following a long illness. Born July 27, 1931 in Jumping Branch he was a son of the late Oliver Carl and Della Faye Bower Smith. Carl was and avid hunter and had been employed by the Bailey Lumber Co. in Princeton as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by one son David Dean SmithSurvivors include one daughter Barbara Ann Smith of Edinburg VA, four stepchildren; Aubrey Dean Craighead, Bernard Roscoe Craighead Jr., Faye Iris Craighead and Diane Lynn Rojas, one sister, Anna Belle Lilly of Gap Mills WV, five Brothers; Noah Charles Smith of Hilldale, Lewis Franklin and George Allen Smith of Sevierville TN, Arthur Fink and Bobby Gene Smith of Princeton WV, two Aunts; Nancy Jane Bower of NC and Edna Tucker of Flat Top WV one granddaugter, Lena Ann Berkey and two great grandchildren, Jeffery Scott Chace and Madison Nicole Chace.Funeral services will be 11 am Friday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor Chapel with Pastor Buck Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz WV. Friends may call from 10 am till time of service on Friday.
