Carlyn O'Neal

Carlyn Hardy Oâ??Neal, 60, of Beckley, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the VA Medical Center at Beckley, following a long illness. Born November 16, 1946 in Raleigh Co., he was the son of the late Woodrow and Faye Carter Oâ??Neal. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict and was a lifelong resident of Summers and Raleigh Counties. Survived by one Aunt; Pauline Richmond of Hinton, one first cousin; Emily Dekle of FL and two second cousins; Velma Hicks of Talcott and Chris Cyrus of Hinton. Several other cousins also survive.

Funeral Information: Memorial services will be held at the Friendship Baptist Church on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at 12:30 P.M. with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at the Woodrumtown Cemetery.
