Carol Gill

Carol A. Gill, 81, of Hinton passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

Born May 1, 1939 at Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Omar Deanie and Mildred G. Richmond Fox.

Carol was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. She worked as a dietician and in food service.  Carol enjoyed reading and taught herself how to use a computer. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Carol was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daw Gill; three brothers, Charles T. Fox, James Fox and Omar G. Fox and one sister, Martha Susan Straight.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Debra L. Mills, Mildred Sue Harrison, Barbarah J. McPherson, Shirley Anne Day, Richard Dean Young, Amey Suzanne Gill and Christopher L. Young; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

At her request the body has been cremated and donations of sympathy may be made to Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors to help the family with funeral expenses.
