Carol Cantley Wade, 50, of Wayside, died Monday at her home, following a long illness. Born August 6, 1954 in Summers Co., she was the daughter of the late Robert Earl and Edna Faye Petrey Cantley Sr. She had lived all her life in Monroe and Summers Counties, she was a homemaker and a former Certified Nursing Assistant. Carol was a member of the Pence Springs Community Church at Pence Springs. Preceded in death by three brothers, Dayton, Elbert and Melvin Cantley. Survived by her husband, James C. Wade at home, one son, Patrick Meadows and wife Brenda of Hinton, one granddaughter, Emma Lee Meadows of Hinton, two brothers; Robert Earl Cantley Jr. of Cocoa, FL and Leo Cantley of Forest Hill, two sisters; Peggy Hoover and Janet Buchannon of Maryland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Roger Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Pence Springs. Friends may call at the funeral parlors Friday from 6-8 P.M.
