Cathy Denise Plumley, 34 of Madams Creek near Hinton entered into her eternal rest, Friday, December 5, 2008 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 17, 1974, at Summers County she was a daughter of Robert and Juanita Via Bennett of Madams Creek. She was a Christian, lifelong resident of Summers Co., a 1992 graduate of Hinton High School and a 2000 graduate of Mountain State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and was employed by DHHR. Cathy enjoyed going shopping, traveling and spending time in the outdoors, a kind wife, mother and daughter who dearly loved all her family and friends. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Irene Via and her paternal grandparents, Abraham and Goldie Bennett. Besides her parents Cathy is survived by her husband of seven years, Jarrell J. Plumley and her six month old twin son and daughter, Kylee Faith and Dylan Jeffrey Plumley of Madams Creek; two sisters, Vickie Adkins and Jennifer Bennett of Madams Creek; one brother, Wayne Bennett and companion Jenny of Madams Creek; four step-sisters, Roberta Grose, Karen Richmond, Glenna Cook and Tracey Sawyer of Hinton; one step-brother, Robert L. Bennett of Hinton; father and mother-in-law, Jarrell Lee Plumley and wife Linda Lee Plumley of Cool Ridge; one sister-in-law, Melinda Ann Price of Cool Ridge; two special nephews, Logan and Hunter Bennett of Hinton; two special nieces, Katlin and Alyssa Price of Cool Ridge; three special friends, Vickie Whitten, Tammy Berry Crandlemire and Kim Ward Webb; numerous other friends whom she loved and cared for. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ernest Calfee Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Madams Creek. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, December 7, 2008. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
