Cecil ?Cheyene? Folds, 63, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.
Born February 27, 1947 in Georgia he was a son of the late Ira Thomas and Pauline Self Folds. Cecil was of the Baptist Faith, a carpenter and construction worker retiring from in 2004, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Survived by his wife of 40 years, Goldie Boone Folds of Hinton; two daughters, Melodie Devonne Kelly and husband Joe of Carrolton, VA and Amanda Dawn Folds Ward and husband Chris of Barger Springs; one son, Kris Folds and wife Carrie of Beckley; one granddaughter, Corey Allison Smith of Carrolton, VA; three brothers, Stanley Self, Larry Young and Ricky Folds all of GA and one sister, Shelby Self of GA.
Graveside services and burial will held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 18, 2010 at Tempa Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel.
