Charles A. "Archie" Ward

Charles A. “Archie” Ward, 44, of Sandstone entered into eternal rest Monday, March 3, 2025 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.

 Born May 14, 1980 in Hinton he was a son of Charles M. and Kathy L. Dick Ward of Sandstone.

 Archie was a factory worker at Nook Industries. He loved basketball, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

 Besides his parents, those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Carey Ward and wife Kayla; two nieces, Bailey Ward and Carly Richmond; special friend, Sarah Buckland and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel. Following the visitation we will depart to the Ward Cemetery on Chestnut Mountain for a graveside committal service with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.
