Charles Bennett

Charles Elwood Bennett, 75 of Bluefield, formerly of Madams Creek, died October 9, 2008 at the Mercer Nursing and Rehab in Bluefield following a long illness. Born at Meadow Creek he was the son of the late Omer and Inez Fox Bennett. Preceded in death by one brother, Benny Bennett. Survived by his wife, Ruth Bennett of Madams Creek; one niece, Kimberly Mounts and husband Greg of Beckley; one great nephew, Adam Mounts of Beckley and one great niece, Megan Mounts of Beckley. Graveside service and burial will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Upland Cemetery with Clark Perkins officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
