Charles Edward Lilly, 78 of Pipestem, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Charleston Area Medical Center following a short illness.
Born July 16, 1932 in Hinton, he was a son of the late Cecil and Margie Lilly Pack of Hinton. He attended Painter?s Chapel Church at Speedway as long as his health permitted.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Mansfield and one brother Donnie Lilly.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Becky Lilly of Pipestem; two daughters, Rhonda Canada of Charlotte, TN and Lisa Clay of Pence Springs; five sons, Ron Lilly of Lyndhurst, VA, Randy Lilly of Hinton, Michael Lilly of Pipestem, Homer Keith Lilly of Pipestem and Greg Lilly of Hinton; 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Mansfield; three brothers, Raymond, Robert and Richard Lilly.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery at Pipestem. Friends may call from noon until time of service, Saturday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
