Charles Richmond

Charles W. Richmond, 50, of Crab Orchard, died Monday, July 7, 2008 in Detroit, Michigan of an apparent heart attack. Born October 23, 1957 at Beckley, he was a son of Charles E. and Joann Lilly Richmond of Crab Orchard. He was an employee of PNU TEC of Statesville, NC and formerly employed by Tension Envelopes of Winston-Salem, NC. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, whitewater rafting, hunting and fishing. Besides his parents he is survived by one son, Brandon Edward Richmond of Crab Orchard; one daughter, Alisha Nicole Richmond of Winston-Salem, NC; and his maternal grandmother, Garnet Lilly of Sullivan. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Cleve Allen officiating. Friends may call from noon till service time on Friday. At Charles request his body will be cremated following the funeral service.Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors, 130 Temple St., Hinton, WV 25951.
