Charlotte Combs

Charlotte Yvonne Berry Combs, 74, of Jumping Branch went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Raleigh Care Center following a short illness.
Born March 19, 1938 at Thurmond, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. Berry and Blanche E. Stone Berry Perkins.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Snodgraft.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Robert A. Combs at home; her children, Robert A. Combs Jr. and wife Leigh Ann, Constance Hodges and companion Terron Matthews and Eric M. Combs and wife Tammy all of Concord, N.C.; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one sister, Carol Ray and husband Charles of Roanoke, VA, also survive.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday September 29, 2012 at the Jumping Branch Tabernacle with Pastors Jim Combs, Ed Cook and Jim Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the Jumping Branch Tabernacle from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Saturday at the church. Grandchildren and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
