Christopher ?Del-Ray? McGuire, 36, of Talcott passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 following a sudden illness.
Born July 9, 1974 at Hinton he was the son of John McGuire of Summersville and Deborah Gill of Oak Hill. A 1992 Graduate of Hinton High School who proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp, he was a tow truck operator for Smith?s Towing in Riverside Rest, ?Del-Ray? enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and spending time with his friends and family.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
Survived by his wife, Mary Ellen McGuire of Talcott; two stepchildren, Alexis and Casey Bennett both of War Ridge; two sisters, Sherri Gill and husband Michael of Hinton and Natasha Bullion and husband Mark of Hinton and maternal grandmother, Imogene Ratliff of Hilldale.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Roger Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Gill Family Cemetery at Hilldale. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
