Clara Lee McKinney Lusk, 84, of Lexington, VA, formerly of Marie, died September 6, 2016 following a long illness. Member of the Pillar of Truth Church in Barger Springs. Born February 23, 1932 in Herndon, WV, she was a daughter of the late Ballard Preston and Alice Louise McKinney.
She was preceded in death by her husband Truby Lusk; one daughter, Brenda Lilly Foster; a grandson, Mathew Thomas Foster; four brothers, Clyde, Erie, Ollie and Grant McKinney and four sisters, Sylvia McKinney, Dorothy McKinney, Goldie Fitzwater and Gertrude Hawley.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Lilly and wife Hester of Sophia and Jason Truby Lusk of Lexington, VA; two daughters, Debra Jo Bragg and husband Okey of Forest Hill and Cindy Lowry and husband Doug of Buck; son in law, Jerry Foster of Marie; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until noon on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel. Graveside services and burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at BlueRidge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity with Pastor Bill Calhoun officiating.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
