Clinton Alan Spade, 54, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2011.
Born November 4, 1957 in Hinton, WV he was a son of the late Edith Madeline Canterbury and Jack Leslie Spade both of Hinton.
Alan was a graduate of Hinton High school class of 1976. He enjoyed a simple lifestyle and loved the outdoors. He was a collector of many books who enjoyed drawing/drafting, hiking with his dog ?Scruffy?, woodworking and Nascar.
Preceded in death by his baby sister, Jacqueline Leslie Spade-Cline; his maternal grandparents, Mamie Arbelle Canterbury and Andrew Lee Canterbury and also his paternal grandparents, Grace and ?Bunny? Spade, both of Hinton.
Survivors include his sister, Teresa Reynolds and husband Steve of Montgomery, WV; a brother Andrew Spade and wife Linda of Salem, VA; a niece, Lindsay Roberts of Charleston, WV; three nephews, Christopher and Alex ?AJ? Cline of Pipestem, WV and Andrew ?Drew? Bruce Spade of Virginia Beach, VA; a step-niece, Brittany White of Charleston, WV; a step-nephew, Travis Reynolds of Smithers, WV and several close friends and neighbors.
The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Teresa Reynolds in Montgomery, WV on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 6-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 11AM until time of services Friday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
