Cora Lee Rombow Arthur, 96, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 8, 2022 at the Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
Born November 1, 1925 at Fayetteville, she was a daughter of the late Frank Rombow and Daisy Hitchcock Mann.
Cora Lee was a member of the Mary Jane Church, a former employee of Bluestone State Park as well as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, spending time with her family and friends and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Arthur and one sister, Evelyn Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sandra Dodd and husband Ernest of Jumping Branch; four granddaughters, Rhonda Willey, Amy Richmond, Lisa Miller and Tammy Crandlemire; two step grandchildren, Kelli Berry and Amanda Grimmett; eight great grandchildren, Nicholas Willey, Adreana Bower, Clayton Crandlemire, Amber Richmond, Austin Cole, Dustin Cole, Keisha Watts and Brookie Harvey; seven great great grandchildren, and three step great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ernest Calfee officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral parlors. Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Willey, Austin Bower, Robbie Richmond, Jason Dodd, Paul and Clayton Crandlemire.
