Curtis D. Pack, 54, of Streeter, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Charleston Area Medical Center General Division following injuries received from an ATV accident. Born June 30, 1954 at Beckley he was a son of James E. Pack Sr. and Helen Lillian Yancey Pack of Nimitz. Curtis lived most of his life in Summers Co. and was a member of the Hinton Masonic Lodge #62 A.F. & A.M. and the Beni Kedem Shrine of Charleston. A graduate of Hinton High School class of 1973 and a Engineer for CSX Transportation with 33 years of service. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pearl and Ruby Pack and his maternal grandparents, Elliot and Annie Yancey. Besides his parents survived by his wife of 17 years, Kim Jaeger Pack of Streeter; two daughters, Jessica Pack of Streeter and Alisha Pack; one son, Curtis Brian Pack of Bland, VA and two grandchildren, one sister, Connie Lilly and husband Roy of Jumping Branch; three brothers, James Pack Jr. and wife Ruth of Jumping Branch, Mark Pack and wife Debbie of Grandview and Kent Pack and Erin of Apex, NC and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside service and burial will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Lilly-Crews cemetery at Nimitz with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton. Members of the Hinton Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside rites and serve as pallbearers.
