Dale Harrison Basham, 38, of Tug Creek passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 following injuries received from a residential house fire.
Born January 8, 1977 at Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Carl Dean Basham and Deloris Ward Basham of Sandstone.
Besides his father, Dale was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Plummer Ward; paternal grandparents, Albert and Cora Basham; and sister, Melissa Ward.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Grimmett Ward of Sandstone; stepfather, Howard "Wimpy" Adkins; half- brother, Clark C.J. Adkins Jr. of Sandstone; stepsister, Joni Lilly of Sandstone; and stepbrothers, Blaine Adkins and Oscar Adkins.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Benny Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Cales Cemetery on Chestnut Mt. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton.
