David Wayne Waddell, 67, of Ballard passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at his home following a long illness.
Born April 28, 1946 at Pemberton he was a son of Liza Bragg Waddell of Greenville and the late Clifford F. Waddell.
David was of the Christian faith. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Milbrook Apartments in Pikesville, MD. David enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Waddell; one son, David Wayne Waddell Jr. and two brothers, Daniel Waddell and Darrell Waddell.
Besides his mother he is survived by one son, Jeffrey Waddell and wife Patricia of Ballard; two step grandchildren, Nathan and Natasha and three step great grandchildren, Skylar Marie, Jasmine Nichole and Andrew Jermaine.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Allen Hilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Cemetery at Union. Friends may call from noon until time of services at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
