Delcie Biars

Delcie Marie Biars, 89 of Beech Run, Hinton died Monday, May 29, 2006 in the Bluestone Personal Care Home near Nimitz following a short illness. Born April 26, 1917 in Hinton she was a daughter of the late Peter and Emma Meadows Meadows. Delcie was the last surviving member of her immediate family and had lived all her life in Summers County. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred V. Biars on September 28, 1998.Four sisters; Bertha Cartoon, Edith Freeman, Dorothy Gravely and Ada Harvey and three brothers; Roy, Herman and Kenneth Meadows. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws including her sister-in-law Donna Dee Meadows of Hinton. Special friends Rose Moten, Jack David Woodrum, Linda Halstead and the staff of Halsteadâ??s and Bluestone Personal Care Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor Chapel with Pastor Melvin Wills officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadows Family Cemetery near Nimitz. Friends may call at the Funeral Parlors from noon until time of service on Wednesday. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
