Delphia Irene Meadows, 85 of Hinton died Thursday December 12, 2013 at Summers County ARH following a short illness.
Born October 23, 1928 in Summers County she was the daughter of the late Amos and Vida Mae Martin. She was a homemaker who attended the Avis Holiness Church.
Preceded in death by three sisters, Daisy Tate, Jenny Martin and Ruby Steers and one brother, Billy Martin.
Survived by three daughters, Linda Steers of Hinton, Ruth Bennett of Summersville and June Champagne of Connecticut; two sons, Robert and David Martin both of Chestnut Mountain; one step daughter, Sylvia Adkins of Madams Creek; numerous grandchildren, four sisters, Marie Trout, Della Ayers, Margaret Martin all of Hinton and Effie Rinehart of Ohio; two brothers, Everett Martin of Hinton and Jesse Martin of Connecticut.
Graveside service and burial will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Benny Allen officiating. There will be no visitation.
