Dessie Bragg Ward Lilly, 85, of Brooks, died at 12:09 A.M. Wednesday, June 06, 2007 at the Summers Nursing and Rehab Center at Hilldale. Born February 11, 1922 in Summers Co., she was the daughter of the late John Bragg and Josie Cales Bragg Neighbors and was a lifelong resident of Summers County. Preceded in death by her 1st Husband, Robert R. Ward, her 2nd Husband Luther Lilly, two sons, Paul and Kenny, five brothers, three sisters and three grandsons Randy, Christopher, and Wylie. Survived by two sons, Lacy Ward and wife Gail of Brooks and Ernie Ward and wife Becky of Hinton, twelve grandchildren, Joyce, Patty, Dessie, Bonnie, Becky Ruth, Ray, Bobbi, Doug, Kevin, Steven, Roger, and Jessie; nine great grandchildren, Two daughters in laws Susie Ward of Bellepoint and Christine Collins of Beckley,one brother, Romeo Bragg of Brooks and two sisters, Edith Hall of Hilldale and Mary Ward and husband Spurgeon of Hinton. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Harry Pilkington officiating. Burial will follow in the Roles Chapel Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 1:00 P.M. until funeral time on Sunday
