Diana Lynn Cox

     Diana Lynn Cox, 66, of Ellison Ridge passed away in the early morning hours Saturday, April 15, 2023.

     Born August 17, 1956 at Welch she was a daughter of the late George Robert “Dink” and Lucy Mae Lilly Lucas.

     Diana worked at several restaurant and convenience stores.  She was very reliable and hard working, for many she was the best cashier ever. Diana made several friends while working and will be missed by many.  Diana loved hunting and fishing and was very good at it.

     She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Robert “Bob” Lucas and Charles “Chuck” Lucas and one sister, Margaret “Midge” Stowers.

     Those left to cherish her memory include four children, Randall Farley Jr., David Matthew “Matt” Farley, Dennis Farley and Benita Farley; step daughter, Angela Yoney; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Tucker, Jerrie Farley, Leta Farley; and Diana’s husband of 39 years, Randy Cox.

     There will be no services. Diana’s final wish was to be cremated and her ashes to be scattered near Little Bluestone.        

Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
