Dicie Lewis

Dicie M. Wills Lewis, 80, of Dundalk, MD formerly of Ellison Ridge, WV died Friday, December 5, 2008 at Bayview Hospital in Maryland. Born July 1, 1928 at Ellison she was a daughter of the late Joseph Basil and Lena Joyce Lilly Wills. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Moose Lodge Chapter #97 in Dundalk, MD and participated in Elder Plus and adult activity weekly. She was a former schoolteacher who enjoyed crafts, helping people and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, Obie A. Lewis; an infant daughter, Rhoda Lewis and one brother Basil Wills. Survived by two sons, Charles M. Lewis and wife Janice of Crofton, MD and Obie A. Lewis of New Mexico; six daughters, Jeanette S. Pricolo of Friars Hill, WV, Lillie J. Becker of Dundalk, MD, Dyanne C. Lewis of Rosedale, MD, Orretta A. Vincent and husband Gene of Kannapolis, NC, Mollie E. Arms and husband Joe of Severn, MD and Jacqueline C. Lewis of Edgemere, MD; seventeen grandchildren; twenty or more great grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Wills of Ellison, WV; three sisters, Charlotte Harvey and husband Norman of LaPlace, NC, Shirley Dobbs of Brooklyn, MD and Pauline Davis and husband Kenny of Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Tuesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
