Dixie Palmer

Dixie Lee Palmer, 63, of Hinton passed away October 28, 2021 at her home following a long illness.

Born November 18, 1957 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Bobby Lee and Betty Jean Foster Meadows.

Dixie was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Wayne Palmer and two sisters, Rita Fortner and Barbara Chaney.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Michael Palmer of Montgomery and Christopher Palmer of Beaver; eight grandchildren, Alec Wayne, Kaylee Lynn, Brayden and Emily Maddalinn “Maddi” Palmer, Alixis Bellamy, Nevaeh Burns, James “R.L.” Meadows and Morgan Johnson-Palmer; one great granddaughter, Ahla Meadows; two brothers, William Meadows and wife Kathy of Hinton and Danny Meadows and companion Clara Mitchell of Alderson and two special nieces, Tiffany Campbell and Rachel Mann.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
