Mr. Donald Lee Biggers, 72 of Nashville, TN departed this life on July 8, 2006 in Nashville following a long illness. Born January 18, 1934 at Talcott he was a son of the late Howard and Anita Luster Biggers. Donald was a retired chef formally employed by â??The Greenbrierâ?? in White Sulfur Springs and restaurants in New York City including the Waldorf Astoria and the World Trade Centers â??Windows on the Worldâ?? and was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Talcott. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Biggers. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Gloria Hosey Biggers, two daughters, Sheila Hosey of Fayetteville WV and Deborah Wright and husband R.C. â??Chrisâ?? of Nashville, TN; two brothers, James Luster and Mason Biggers of Talcott; one aunt, Jessie Ellis of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren, Andrea Poore, Jean-Fresnel Augustin, Jr. and Ashley Augustin; two brother-in-laws, Edward Hosey and wife Faustina and Thomas Hosey; four sister-in-laws, Bobby Bailey, Genevieve Bailey, Marcella Hosey and Drema Robinson; twenty nieces and nephews, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives and friends who also share many fond and loving memories. Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday July 14, 2006 at the Talcott Cemetery with Pastor Earl Jackson officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton.
