Donna Ray Adkins

 Donna Ray Adkins, 46, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.

 Born October 9, 1978 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Donna Martin Meadows.

 Donna was a volunteer at Loaves and Fishes. She was a former employee of Dairy Queen, Three Rivers Edge, Kirks and the Coast to Coast Motel. She enjoyed riding four wheelers, being outdoors, singing music and spending time with family and friends.

 Donna was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Woody.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Douglas Edward Adkins; four children, Tyler Adkins, Sakaoya Blackburn, Billie Nicole Blackburn and Billy Blackburn; one stepson, Shawn Adkins and wife Candice; one stepdaughter, Kara Bennett and husband Alan; six grandchildren, Jase, Karson, Laelynn, Dalton, Alana and Kinsley; four siblings, Betty Gill, Michael Meadows, Melba Woods and Pete Meadows and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Melvin Wills  officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery near Hinton. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
