Doris Ramsey

Doris K. Ramsey, 73, of Hinton, died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Hilldale, following a long illness. Born June 12, 1934 at Summers Co., she was the daughter of the late Marion Ernest and Ocie Marie Young Bruce. Mrs. Ramsey was a lifelong resident of Summers Co., she was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Hinton, a homemaker, a former employee of G.C. Murphy Co. of Hinton, a former owner and operator of Kateâ??s Store on 12th Ave. in Hinton and formerly owned and operated a bait store at Nimitz. Survived by; three daughters, Brenda Ramsey of Pennsylvania, Tammy Sears of Hinton and Teresa Richmond of Sandstone; one son, Gary Ray Ramsey of Florida; one sister, Frances Crowder of Mt. Alta, WV and two grandsons Charles Michael Ramsey and Carlos Lee Richmond Jr. At her request, her body was cremated and there will be no services.
