Earnest Adkins

Earnest Franklin Adkins, 72, of Meadow Creek died Thursday, March 06, 2008 at the Greenbrier Manor Nursing Home at Lewisburg, following a long illness. Born June 28, 1935 in Summers Co. he was a son of the late Lena Emma Adkins. Earnest was a member of the Meadow Creek Baptist Church and had lived his entire life at Meadow Creek. He is Survived by three uncles; David Adkins of Pocahontas Co. formerly of Meadow Creek, Issac Adkins of Meadow Creek and Luther Adkins of Lockbridge. Graveside service and burial will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Meadow Creek Cemetery with Pastor Harry Allen officiating. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation.
